Obviously angered by Ronaldo’s pose, many Buddhists on social media have called him all sort of names.
The critics took to his (Ronaldo) Instagram page to vent their anger, adding that they are no longer his fans. They also ordered him to delete the photo.
Some even went as far as cursing him, saying calamity will befall his career because of the photo.

Some prostitutes in Agege area of Lagos state have been displaced after fire razed their brothel on Thursday, October 6.
Our correspondent who visited the scene of the fire outbreak reports that the prostitutes were seen scampering for safety after the ugly incident destabilized them in the morning (the period after their usual daily routine).
Although the cause of the fire outbreak could not be ascertained as at the time of filing this report, it was gathered that the roof of the brothel was blown out by the inferno but the building stood against the fire since it was built with mud bricks.
While lingering in the area for a few minutes, Michael Obasa, our photojournalist who visited the scene of the fore outbreak, reports that some of the prostitutes were lamenting and cursing the cause of the fire which all but set them back in no small way.

“In this time of recession, how can something this terrible happen to us?” one of the prostitutes was quoted to have told one of her regular clients who was asking her to explain what happened.
Another prostitute was also said to have claimed that all her belongings had been destroyed with the flames that ravished their abode unprecedentedly.

“This is a really sad occurrence for us here. This is where we make our daily living, for this kind of thing to happen to us is really terrible.
“I’m short of words right now,” she lamented.

The residents of the neighbouring houses were also said to have mocked the commercial sex workers, stating that the inferno served them right because they had constituted a nuisance to the community since they decided to make the place their business district.
One of those who spoke to our correspondent anonymously, stated that “I don’t feel any pity for them because this is not the best thing they could have done with their lives.
“Our children wake up from time to time to see these people here and there is little or nothing we can do to prevent this from happening. With their recent predicament, it is almost certain that most of them will relocate from that area and probably get something else to do with their lives.”
Recent reports had it that some prostitutes in Nyanya market area of Abuja have turned the place to brothels where they receive ‘clients’ at night.
This much was revealed by the chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) Abdullahi Candido, who strongly condemned the act by the sex workers.
He explained that the the wrongful use of the place has attracted hawking along the road side, creating an unhygienic environment in the process.
The Deepwater Horizon was a drilling rig that blew up off the coast of Louisiana in 2010. The technical reasons why it happened, or who was on board, may have been forgotten. This film is here to remind us of both.
It shouldn't work. Combining a Hollywood action flick with a respectful drama about a real-life tragedy is a minefield. But with the ever-likeable Mark Wahlberg to root for and a final act that throws us into the heart of the terrifying fireball - it gets it right.
Wahlberg plays Mike Williams, an oil rig worker who's about to head out for a 21 day shift on the Deepwater Horizon. He's a fun, easygoing husband and workmate. The movie can't rely solely on a simmering sense of dread to carry us through to the end credits. We need a hero - and Wahlberg with his everyman charm is that hero.
We could have done with some better female roles maybe - Kate Hudson is consigned to the role of the anxious wife at the other end of a fuzzy Skype call - but given this was based on real events we'll let that slide.
Once on the rig, under the command of the gruff Jimmy Harrell (Kurt Russell) the problems start to stack up - along with the jargon. This is a world of 'kill lines', 'blowout preventers' and 'reverse pressure tests'. It might sound a bit snoozy but it's actually mysteriously fascinating.
There are some dreamy, underwater shots that take us below the rig and down the central drilling pipe to where danger lies in the dark; the rig is sitting over an enormous field of oil and gas which could bite back at any minute.
The film neatly sets up the idea of two monsters: an angry mother earth versus a greedy corporation. Enter John Malkovich as a BP head honcho - he wants to hurry through the safety pressure tests and get on with the drilling. Malkovich is on fine villainous form; so oily they should have stuck a rig on him. The pressure on Harrell soon becomes unbearable and the drilling starts - with tragically inevitable results.
The director, Peter Berg (Battle Ship, Lone Survivor), and his team, built one of the biggest sets in movie history for the film - effectively a reconstruction of the lower half of the rig. It's about keeping the final explosive act as real as possible, from the first seeping mud around the pipes, to the last all-consuming fireball. The effect is exhausting. Frazzling.
Berg isn't out to entertain - he want us to experience what it was like on that fateful night. And it's the right thing to do. Eleven people died in the disaster. As their names are shown in the final credits you feel that this is how their story should be told on screen. No fireworks for the sake of it. Just solid, straightforward storytelling that's a tribute to the workers who risked their lives to provide for their families. And a sober reminder of how greed can ruin lives.
Donald Trump on Friday criticized Hillary Clinton’s marriage and said he plans to raise the subject at the next presidential debate, aiming to unsettle his Democratic rival.
“Hillary Clinton was married to the single greatest abuser of women in the history of politics,” Trump said Friday in an interview with the New York Times, referring to former President Bill Clinton. “Hillary was an enabler, and she attacked the women who Bill Clinton mistreated afterward. I think it’s a serious problem for them, and it’s something that I’m considering talking about more in the near future.”
Trump has danced around the issue recently, threatening to give Gennifer Flowers—with whom Bill Clinton admitted to having an affair decades ago—a front-row seat at the first presidential debate.
Trump told the Times on Friday that infidelity was “never a problem” in his own three marriages. Trump’s relationship with his second wife, Marla Maples, began while he was still married to Ivana Trump. He and his current wife, Melania, were married in 2005.
“I don’t talk about it. I wasn’t president of the United States. I don’t talk about it,” Trump said when asked about his affair with Maples. “When you think of the fact that he was impeached, the country was in turmoil, turmoil, absolute turmoil. He lied with Monica Lewinsky and paid a massive penalty.”
Trump, aiming to make up for a widely panned performance in the first presidential debate, said he hoped the topic of the former president’s extramarital affairs would turn off female voters and unsettle Hillary Clinton.
“She’s nasty, but I can be nastier than she ever can be,” Trump said.
