Oritsefemi confirms being beaten at Quilox nightclub

On Friday, singer Oritsefemi had a brawl with some of the bouncers at Quilox Night club in Lagos. His management has released a statement stating his own side of the story.

Here is what they wrote:

On Friday 11th 2016, at exactly 2am at Quilox Night Club. OristeFemi was attacked by a bouncer just because he was trying to stand for an older Colleague and a friend. According to His Management MSN GANG the Double wahala & Ongba Larami singer was at Quilox on Friday trying to ease off stress with his friends at the VIP corner of the said club when he noticed a senior colleague and a brother Sound sultan and Rock Steady were been bounced from entering the VIP section of the club.
Oriste Femi who was not happy with the bouncers behavior stood up to ask the bouncer why he was putting up such attitude to An A list Artiste and a brother, the bouncer replied that an order was placed Down by Shina Peller the CEO of the club that no A list Artist should be allowed into the VIP section, claiming the A list Artiste were not his costumers and they have no value at his Club Just because of his rift with Davido [Does that make any sense at all]. His management also claimed that Oritsefemi got into the brawl because he was trying to defend Sound Sultan who was being bounced from entering the VIP section of the club.

Sound Sultan took to his IG account to deny that he was bounced saying, ‘Misinformation I was chilling in the VIP as every other time in my Cousins club.’

Reality TV Star and business woman Kim Kardashian hid her face with her hands as she was spotted as she arrived husband Kanye West’s concert in a chauffeur driven car on Tuesday night in Los Angeles.

36 year old mother of two didn't seem too interested in photos as she wore light make up and a black long sleeve dress. Immediately she spotted cameras tried hiding her face, she was then seen leaving the concert with Kanye at the end. More photos after the cut.

Super Eagles/Watford star Odion Ighalo faces 2 year jail term & €3000 fine for alleged bribery scandal while in Spain

According to reports from top Spanish paper, Marca, Super Eagles/Watford striker Odion Ighalo and 93 others including his ex-Granada teammate, Diego Buonanotte might face a two-year jail term after facts emerged he was involved  in a bribery scandal while he played with Granada in Spain.

According to the report, Ighalo and 93 others bribed their way through driving tests in 2012 and 2013 as they hired someone to sit for exams and the striker potentially faces a jail term of 2 years and fine of  €3,000 if an open trial is to be held according to the provincial district attorney’s office of Granada.

According to the report, the Super Eagles star and 93 others paid between €1,500 and €2,500 to students who wrote their driving exams for them and in Ighalo's case, after the exam- the errors from his sheet were deleted.

Ighalo has now been charged with 'falsifying an official document'.

Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has been destroyed with a pick-ax. The US Republican presidential candidate's star which was awarded to him in 2007 and located at 6801 Hollywood Blvd, was smashed up early today by one Jamie Otis, who took credit for the destruction. Otis posed as a construction worker to fool anyone walking past.


Smashing the embedded terrazzo and brass star to bits, he claims he intends to auction off the removed star to raise money for the women who have come forward to accuse Trump of sexually assaulting them over the decades. Los Angeles police are investigating the case.

This year's Miss Bumbum Brazil contest has sparked outrage among Christians after the contestants posed for 'the Last Supper' photo in reference to Jesus Christ's last supper with his disciples before he was crucified.

In the outrageous photo, the contestants all wearing lingerie pose on top the 'supper' table and the contestant with the sexiest bum poses in the center as 'Jesus'.

 

Religious leaders branded the remake of the Da Vinci masterpiece "deeply disrespectful" and even Brazil's religious intolerance commission condemned the picture.

One of the contestants said she regretted posing for the shot and said she had "asked forgiveness from God for a great sin".

Daiana Fegueredo, representing the state of Ceara and chosen to play the role of  'Jesus', said:

 "I did the photo because of my contract. But I didn't like it and I wasn't happy about it. You can't play around with the word of God."I completely understand people being angry about it, because even I'm angry and I'm in it. For me it is blasphemy.

"I feel really bad deep inside of me. I'm a practising Catholic. Since I did the photo my heart is tight inside my chest, I can't sleep and I don't stop thinking about it. I've already asked forgiveness from God, and I ask forgiveness from everyone else. We went too far. We were part of a great sin."

Father Clesio Vieira, from the Volta Redonda diocese of Rio de Janeiro, said:

"Everyone's talking about it. It has broken the boundaries of ethics and respect, all in the name of money. This isn't creativity, it's the vulgarisation of the sacred and is deeply disrespectful."

Ronaldo slammed for disrespecting Buddhist community

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has been slammed by the Buddhist community on social media after he uploaded a photo of himself posing with one of his legs on top of a Buddha statue.

Obviously angered by Ronaldo’s pose, many Buddhists on social media have called him all sort of names.

The critics took to his (Ronaldo) Instagram page to vent their anger, adding that they are no longer his fans. They also ordered him to delete the photo.

Some even went as far as cursing him, saying calamity will befall his career because of the photo.

The power of the Buddha cannot be downsized as it is believed that Leicester City’s Premier League triumph last season can be attributed to spiritual support they got from some monks.

At a special shrine surrounded by Buddhist statues and hangings installed by Mr Vichai – the monks, led by assistant Abbott Phra Prommangkalachan, offer the players what they call “spiritual support”.

Wizkid, Olamide,Others Nominated For “Best African Act ” At MTV EMAs 2016

African stars Olamide (Nigeria), Wizkid (Nigeria),  Alikiba (Tanzania), Black Coffee (South Africa) and Cassper Nyovest (South Africa) have been nominated for Best African Act at the 2016 MTV EMAs, MTV’s annual music awards spectacular that celebrates the hottest artists from around the world.

The 2016 MTV EMAs will air live from on MTV (DStv channel 130) and MTV Base (DStv channel 322) on Sunday 6 November at 22:00 CAT from the Ahoy Rotterdam in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
