Referring to the fight that ensued between him and Don Jazzy at the 2015 Headies award, Olamide said if he needs 1m awards he will pay somebody to do them for him and if he cannot afford them he will go and steal from D’banj or Psquare, he jokingly said.

“Maybe if we start appreciating each other, love and respect our differences the world would be a better place. God is love, spread love, we are magic,” he ended it.

Tiwa Savage and Teebilliz problems not over yet

image

It is glaring that the fight is not over yet as estranged hubby of singer Tiwa Savage, Tunjj Balogun aka Teebillz, clocked plus one yesterday September 26. As expected, friends, colleagues and family members sent him birthday greetings on social media but Tiwa, the mother of his child, Jamil, however, refused to give a birthday shout out to him.
Though she is still in Australia on a tour, the hip hop queen, seems to have given up on the marriage. For one who posts frequently on social media especially Instagram, it was surprising that Tiwa, who has been touring the United States and now Australia, could decide not to post anything, not even on her estranged hubby’s big day.
Obviously, this is a pointer to the fact that she is not going back to her old flame and once-upon-a-time manager whom she said made her who she is today in the entertainment industry.

Naira crashes to N445/$1 at parallel market

But according to Aminu Gwadabe, the president of the Association of Bureau De Change Operators of Nigeria (ABCON), the current rate of the naira at the parallel market was not a true reflection of the value of the currency.

He attributed the development to the activities of speculators, which he said are taking advantage of the poor implementation of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) policy requiring banks to sell dollars to bureau de change (BDC) operators.

Some currency traders also said the demand from parents buying dollars to pay school fees abroad was exerting pressure on the FX market.

To analysts at CSL Stockbrokers Limited, the effects of low oil prices and production disruptions are having significant impact on dollar receipts by the country.

However, Gwadabe assured that the BDCs were set to key into Travelex platform for forex sales.

Travelex has the technology to sell forex to about 1,000 BDCs in a couple of hours, which is a major advantage.

He said that biometric registration of BDCs and subsequent funding was on-going, a move he said would lead the naira to the path of recovery.

Aliko Danger Claims He Will Buy Arsenal In Say 3-4 Years

Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest man, plans to buy London-based Arsenal soccer team within four years.

Dangote, a Nigerian worth $10.8 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, announced his intention to buy the club last year. He said he needs to wait for his business prospects to improve and his investments in gas pipelines and an oil refinery to play out before making the acquisition.
“There’s no doubt” he’ll buy Arsenal and “it’s not a problem” of money, Dangote said in an interview with Bloomberg Television in New York on Wednesday. “Maybe three to four years. The issue is that we have more challenging headwinds. I need to get those out the way first and start having tailwinds. Then I’ll focus on this.”
Dangote, an Arsenal fan, has lost $4.5 billion this year, the third most of anyone globally, due mainly to the depreciation of Nigeria’s currency, the billionaires index shows. The bulk of his wealth is tied up in Lagos-based Dangote Cement Plc, whose stock is down 19 percent in the past two years. An acquisition would make him the first sub-Saharan African owner of a team in England’s Premier League.

“It’s not about buying Arsenal and just continuing with business as usual,” he said. “It’s about buying Arsenal and turning it around. I’ve run a very successful business and I think I can also run a very successful team. Right now, with what we’re facing, over $20 billion of projects, I cannot do both.”
While Arsenal has won 13 top flight league titles in England, making it one of the country’s most successful sides, it’s last was in 2004.
Arsenal Holdings Plc, the owner, trades on the ICAP Securities & Derivatives Exchange, or ISDX, and has a market capitalization of 1 billion pounds ($1.3 billion).
Stan Kroenke, worth $7 billion and owner of the National Basketball Association’s Denver Nuggets, holds 67 percent of Arsenal Holdings, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
Most English Premier League matches are broadcast live in Nigeria, Africa’s most populous country, by Supersport, a satellite television channel owned by South Africa’s Naspers Ltd.
