Rumor Has It Daniel Craig Has Been Offered More Than $150 Million to Return as Bond

After apparently turning down $99 million to reprise his role as Bond a couple of months back, Sony has returned to the table to offer Daniel Craig the outlandish sum of $150 million to bring back his personal brand of squinty, moody 007.

According to a source close to Radar ,"the studio is desperate to secure the actor's services while they phase in a younger long-term successor."

So far the list of alleged successors ranges from Tom Hiddleston, to Idris Elba, Michael Fassbender to relative unknown—and apparent bookies' favorite—James Norton.

So far Craig has starred in four Bond's, with his 2012 turn in Skyfall the highest grossing film in the franchise's history.

The source then said: "They will shoot two more films, which will be made virtually back-to-back, preferably featuring Daniel as 007 before he passes the figurative baton to someone else for a third movie that will mark the start of the new era."
